Project Funded: Summer Food
Funds were used to provide gift cards to Dryden families to purchase healthy foods over the summer.
Family Reading Partnership
Awarded- $325
Project Funded: Bright Red Bookshelves Support
Funds were used to purchase books for Bright Red Bookshelves located in the Dryden School District.
Lion's Den Food Center
Awarded- $350
Project Funded: After School Snack Shack
Funds were used to purchase nutritional, healthy, low calorie snacks for students who are staying after with a teacher for help, athletes who have games or practices, art and drama students who have rehearsals, and student workers.
Mutual Aid Tompkins
Awarded- $425
Project Funded: Food Sharing Cabinets
Funds were used to purchase food for Blue Food Sharing Cabinets located in the Town and Village of Dryden.
Varna Community Association
Awarded-$150
Project Funded: Wheelbarrow for Playground, Trails, and Gardens
Funds were used to purchase a wheelbarrow for the use of Varna Community Center volunteers while they would to maintain outdoor spaces.
Village at Ithaca

The mission of BIPOC and Friends is to provide a safe space for students of color where they can socialize, express themselves, and work on projects that advocate for a more equitable school environment.
