Individual Giving
100% of your gifts go to LOCAL programs or services, as UWTC covers its administrative costs through our Cornerstone Partners, earned income, and investment earnings.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD):
If you would like to make a QCD gift through your IRA, please email campaign@uwtc.org to let us know what amount to expect, update your address and phone if applicable, and when your gift should be expected. We will enter your pledge and alert you if it is not received by the deadline. You can also share this information by calling us at (607) 500-GIVE, option 2 or 5, or by sending in a fillable pledge card, available to download above or at our offices. Spouses may each make a QCD if they wish.

Businesses & Organization Giving
We invite you to invest in the areas that align with your community goals by pledging today! Cornerstone Partners underwrite UWTC’s administrative costs. These costs include programs run directly by UWTC, the cost of fundraising for our local mission-driven network, processing employee and individual donations, conducting community needs assessments, advocating for systemic change, and convening resources and ideas to achieve organizational capacity building among Tompkins County’s mission-driven sector. We are committed to recognizing our Cornerstone Partners in many ways to share your commitment to the wider community.
Businesses and organizations also have the option to invest in our United Tompkins Impact Fund our the United Way/2-1-1 ALICE Program. ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) Households in Tompkins County live below a sustainable income are struggling with basic needs like housing, utilities, and transportation or childcare to work. Your support for ALICE households means when they call 2-1-1 for help, we can come alongside them to meet these needs.
