United Way of Tompkins County, in collaboration with others, transforms the dynamics of poverty in Tompkins County by addressing human needs and creating conditions for economic security for all. Together we achieve:

Youth Opportunity

Helping children & young people realize their full potential

Healthy Community

Improving health & well-being for all

Financial Opportunity

Coming alongside individuals and households as they build a sustainable life

Thriving Community

Partnering with mission-driven organizations, business, and government partners to address needs today AND create conditions for a thriving tomorrow

We measure our success in lives changed.

Annual Campaign

Each year, we raise funds through the annual community campaign to fund all of the UWTC programs and services for the next fiscal year (running July 1 – June 30). Every dollar raised goes back out to come alongside others and create conditions for all to thrive. Please see the our work section page to better understand how we invest your giving dollars into our community. We also support the Tompkins County mission-driven sector by passing-through all donor designations. Finally, UWTC holds programs and provides services to help expand the sector’s capacity to include convening “tables” to find local solutions to community needs.

Individual Giving

100% of your gifts go to LOCAL programs or services, as UWTC covers its administrative costs through our Cornerstone Partners, earned income, and investment earnings.

To make a pledge today, please see the DONATE button on the upper right of our homepage or send us your fillable pledge card.
