Recent Federal SNAP Work Rule changes mean that some adults aged 18 through 64 without dependents must meet ABAWD (Able Bodied Adults Without Dependents) work rules to keep SNAP. Learn more about these changes from this SNAP Update Flyer. For some of these individuals, volunteering will help them meet the requirement. A platform, Tompkins Opportunity, has been developed to help these individuals find volunteer opportunities.
