United Way of Tompkins County’s annual Day of Action creates a meaningful impact in our community. This service day links people and employers to mission-driven organizations in Tompkins County. Together, they work on projects, build strong relationships, and show the positive impact of people caring for and serving their community.

How It Works

The 2026 Day of Action takes place on Friday, June 12.

To Volunteer

Individuals, businesses, or other groups are invited to volunteer!

  • Complete this Day of Action Volunteers form.
  • We will match you with an organization that needs your help.
  • You will receive contact information for the organization you’ll be working with to finalize arrangements for June 12.

You can even get United Way t-shirts for your crew! Just tell us on the form how many and what sizes you’ll need.
